Bling Bandages

Invented in 1920 by a Johnson & Johnson employee whose hapless wife was always alone in the house when she had cooking, erm, mishaps, the band-aid quickly became the go-to item in any first aid kit.  The first orthopedic casts of plaster of Paris were used in war hospitals in the 1800s.  But whoever invented the bandages, whoever added the bling is brilliant!
